MTV Nominates Justin Bieber Bunch Of Awards
Justin Bieber is up for a whole bunch of awards at the MTV O Music Awards. This is the first year the O Music Awards have been held. They are new type of award ceremony meant to recognize online and digital music. Of course Justin is one of the most successful online musicians of all time. His rise to fame via YouTube videos is sort of a Cinderella story.
MTV is recognizing that music is going through a new revolution. Online music stars can rise very rapidly and develop a global level of fame is months or even a week’s time. Frankly a yearly award ceremony may not be frequent enough.
One of the categories for the award ceremony is for how supportive a fan base the star has. It’s kind of weird to award a star for their fans. It kind of seems as if this award categorey was created with Justin in mind. His fans are probably the most rapid and obsess of all time.
The O Awards will be present on April 28th this year. I am sure we will be hearing more about it between now and then but be sure mark your calendars so you remember to show Justin your support.
